Ubisoft Hosts Create Your Own Snowboard Contest for Shaun White Snowboarding

Ubisoft announced a rad new contest that will allow gamers to create their own snowboard design. The best designs will be included in the upcoming release of Shaun White Snowboarding.
Gamers will be able to vote on their favorite board designs and every two weeks between now and October 12th, the top two designs will be made into playable boards and included in the Shaun White Snowboarding game.
Besides having their board designs in the game, board creators will receive prizes that include Wii Systemsand Ubisoft games.
The board that gets the most votes will be made into an actual, real-life snowboard.

Shawn White Snowboarding is scheduled to release November 2008 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS and Windows PC.

Get Ready to Rock as Activision Unveils Full Guitar Hero: World Tour Set List

ESPN might be the world leader in sports coverage, but Activision is the world leader in console gaming rock and roll and on October 26th they are planning on rocking the world!
Recently the company opened up and announced its play list for its next iteration of Guitar Hero.
The World Tour set list will include tracks from some of the greatest rock and rollers of all time, including: Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Van Halen, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Michael Jackson and more.
The releases will span over 40 years of rock history and featuring 86 tracks, comprised entirely of master recordings, the game will deliver Guitar Hero fans the largest selection of on-disc music in the music-rhythm videogame genre to date. Midway Releases Full Character Roster for Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

The moment that many gamers’ have been waiting for has arrived. The odds on favorite for fighting game of the year has some hot new information and we have it for you.
Midway has released the full roster for its upcoming Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe title that is being developed for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
The list of DC characters includes: Batman, Superman, Bat Woman, The Joker, Green Lantern, Lex Luther, Dark Seid, Death Stroke, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Shazam.
The list of Mortal Kombat characters includes: Sonya, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Shao Kahn, Baraka, Kano, Kitana, Raiden, Liu Kang, Shang Tsung and Jax.
